PositiveBetween 1979 and 1984, I was at BJMC, Civil Hospital for my MBBS program. Lived in the hostel where we, the students ran the club/mess in each block, where we would eat daily. Sunday is the feast in lunch and the evening was the only day off for the kitchen staff at every student club/mess. During Sunday evenings, me and my friends usually would go out to have dinner. I used to go to Kalupur barahandi from time to time on Sunday evenings and I remember visiting Noorani Barahandi. But, I would try different stores. Barahandi is the first such place where I came to know the item Rogan Josh. Being from a small town in south Gujarat, I had no clue what Rogan Josh was. Great memories.
