CGI sucks.

Another thing about Davy Jones, when the CGI artists were making the tentacle beard, as a reference for squid tentacles that were out of the water, they looked at footage of the Giant Octopus from King Kong VS Godzilla to help get the motion right.

honestly I hated all 3 of the movies starring live action Scooby Doo mainly due to his creepy CGI’d face it’s like Scooby Doo himself fell into the uncanny valley due to how creepily realistic his face looked 😖 those memories still haunt me to this day and correction: that monster in the movie Avengers Endgame that Drax is seen hopping on the back of is actually a huge spiked alien troll 🧌 thing y’know given that Avengers Endgame is set in outer space 🪐 it would make sense to have Drax stab the living daylights out of that monstrous alien 👽😉
