Chicken Cafreal Goan Style

Hello Guys,
Welcome to “Perpetual’s Kitchen”.
Today I will be showing you that how to cook this yummy & delicious “Chicken Cafreal”
FOR MASALA PASTE:-
* Turn on the gast sove, heat a frying pan.
* Once the pan is heated then add 1 & 1/2 tsp Poppy seeds.
* 1 tsp Cumin seeds.
* 1 Cinnamon stick.
* 1/2 tsp whole black peppercorns.
* 2 Cardamoms.
* 4 to 5 Cloves.
* Dry roast for approx 2 minutes & take it out in a plate & allow it to cool.
* Now transfer the roasted ingredients into a grinding jar
* Add 1 inch roughly chopped ginger.
* 3 to 4 green chillies.
* 10 to 12 garlic cloves.
* Grind it coarsely.
* Now add 1 lemon juice.
* 1 & 1/2 tbsp Vinegar.
* 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
* 1 tsp sugar.
* 1 tsp salt.
* 8 to 10 mint leaves.
* 1 & 1/2 bowl of Coriander leaves.
* Grind it to a fine paste.
* Our masala paste is ready.
⬗Method:-
* Take 700 grams of chicken legs & give a few gashes to the chicken pieces (NOTE:- Make sure they’re not too deep otherwise the chicken will fall off the bone)
* Now transfer the chicken pieces to the kadai & apply the masala paste to it.
* Run the masala paste into each and every crevice of the chicken & rub it all around.
* Now set aside for 1 hour in a refrigerator to marinate.
* Once the chicken has been marinated then place the marinated chicken in a hot oil & fry it for 5 minutes on a medium flame.
* Flip the chicken pieces after 5 minutes & fry it for another 5 minutes on a medium flame.
* Now flip the chicken pieces after 5 minutes & fry it for another 3 minutes on a medium flame.
* Now flip the chicken pieces after 3 minutes & fry it for another 3 minutes on a medium flame.
* Now wash out the grinding jar in which we had made the masala paste & add the water to the pan.
* Close the lid & let it cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
* Open the lid after 10 minutes & keep turning the pieces at regular intervals (NOTE:- By doing this, the pieces of chicken will cook nicely & evenly on all the sides)
* Now close the lid & let it cook for another 10 minutes on low flame.
* Open the lid after 10 minutes.
